Monitoring what employees can do ensure that they will only use work equipment such as the Internet for business and not their own personal use. With the easy access to so many different Internet sites, it is almost impossible to control what the user can do and look at. Web filtering, which many schools use today for students, allows employers to manage what sites employees can view. By doing so, there would not be as many distractions while working on company time and only work appropriate networking would be permitted.
