Social media wallflower

Not everyone is comfortable networking with other people.  It can be hard to work to cultivate an image, to connect with other people in a way that they will remember.  In business, having connections to other businesses and to customers is essential to growth, but it does not mean that it is easy.

Fighting the urge to stay isolated when the opportunity to meet other people and gain a foothold on a new relationship is another milestone to be reached in any business.  This can be hard for anyone to conquer, that does not mean the urge to avoid meeting new people will simply go away on its own. 

Lisa Petrilli takes the time to explain her own feelings on meeting new people and how to alleviate some of the stress overcoming her own problems. Getting used to networking is not going to happen overnight, but the first step can be talking to others and relating the problem.  No one is born to perfectly communicate with others, it is a skill to be learned like anything else.
