SBDC Graduate Assistant Profiled on Kutztown University Website

The Kutztown Small Business Development Center is supported in part by the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.  Many of the staff who put in hours to help small business owners with their plans for the future are drawn from the students at the University.  In addition to taking graduate or undergraduate classes, each works in the office to expand not only their knowledge and experience but to help local business thrive.

We are proud to have one of our graduate assistants, James Rodriguez, be chosen as a student profile on the Kutztown University homepage.  James has worked at the SBDC since August 2011, primarily at the Reading office of the KU SBDC, helping clients in not only English but Spanish as well.

Scott Schaeffer, James' supervisor had this to say about his work at the Reading office of the SBDC, "James is a huge asset to the Jump Start Incubator and KU SBDC.  He shows great initiative and is very proactive when working on projects.  ...If I give him an overview of a project's main objectives, he will formulate a plan to achieve the desired results.  In my opinion, this is a sign of leadership which will serve him and any organization he is affiliated with well into the future."
