On the day before Thanksgiving, we at the SBDC suggest that you reflect on your small business and think about the things that you are thankful for in the business world. Perhaps you are simply thankful for the skill of entrepreneurship, a skill that requires you to constantly think on your feet and be innovative with your problem solving.
Maybe you are thankful for the loyal customer, the person that despite tough economic times, has continued to go to your small business over the large corporation for your product. This article gives you ten more things to be thankful for, whether it's the way social media is greatly decreasing the cost of marketing, or the fact that while the economy is down, the pool to hire people from is much stronger.
