Why use Google Analytics for your small business?

We are hard at work here at the Kutztown SBDC, working on a new e-book of Google's new web-tracking program, Google Analytics. But what does Google Analytics do? How can I read the data? What data does it give me? How can I interpret it and adjust my web site accordingly?
